Checked 31 July 2026.
“Complimentary lounge access” describes four materially different arrangements on the cards compared here. One has a half-year limit, one has stated annual domestic and international quotas, one requires ₹75,000 of qualifying previous-quarter spend, and one calls access unlimited but tests for a previous-month transaction.
The right comparison is therefore not the largest number in a brochure. It is the number of visits available on your travel dates after every gate has been met. Recheck current issuer terms and the participating-lounge list immediately before relying on access; an eligible card is not a reservation or a guarantee that a lounge is open.
Comparison on the check date
| Card | Domestic lounge position at 31 July 2026 | International lounge position | Gate and timing that changes the headline |
|---|---|---|---|
| HSBC Live+ | 2 visits per year, maximum 1 in each six-month period | None live on the check date; 1 visit per year starts 1 September 2026 | The future international visit must not be counted in July or August |
| HSBC TravelOne | 6 visits per year | 4 visits per year | No verified spend gate; guest and add-on quota details are unavailable |
| HDFC BizPower | 2 domestic visits plus one MakeMyTrip zero-cancellation voucher after qualification | 6 Priority Pass visits per year | From July 2026, domestic package requires ₹75,000 qualifying spend in the previous quarter |
| HDFC BizBlack | Unlimited lounge access, subject to the operative programme | Included within the issuer’s lounge proposition; check the current network and terms | At least one online or in-store transaction in the previous month; access begins from the 5th |
“Per year” may mean an anniversary, calendar or programme year. Confirm the reset date rather than assuming 1 January.
HSBC Live+: two domestic visits, split by time
Live+ permits two domestic visits, maximum one in each six-month period. Assume August and October fall in the same confirmed window and February in the next: only one of the first two can use the benefit, while February may use the next allowance.
Its one annual international visit starts 1 September 2026. It was not live at this dateline, so a 31 August trip has no Live+ international entitlement.
HSBC TravelOne: annual pools, missing guest detail
TravelOne states six domestic plus four international visits and no verified spend gate. If a traveller makes four domestic and two international visits in one confirmed programme year, all fit their separate pools. Do not move an unused international visit into the domestic pool unless terms permit it.
Unavailable detail: verified guest and add-on-card quota treatment was not available. Do not promise a companion free entry or treat an add-on card as creating another 6+4 quota.
A sensitivity calculation, not a valuation: attributing TravelOne’s entire ₹4,999 fee before tax to ten used visits gives ₹499.90 each; using four gives ₹1,249.75. The card has other features, so neither number is a universal conclusion.
HDFC BizPower: qualify one quarter earlier
From July 2026, ₹75,000 qualifying previous-quarter spend unlocks two domestic visits plus one MakeMyTrip zero-cancellation voucher.
| Previous-quarter spend | Following-quarter package |
|---|---|
| ₹74,999 | Not unlocked |
| ₹75,000 | 2 visits + 1 stated voucher, subject to terms |
| ₹1,50,000 | Do not assume two packages |
This assumes eligible, posted spend without refunds and one package after the threshold. Exclusions, posting and voucher validity control. Our spend-gate explainer shows why an April–June miss affects July–September.
BizPower separately states six international Priority Pass visits per year. Membership is not unlimited entry; check the pool, guest charge and reset period.
HDFC BizBlack: unlimited is conditional
BizBlack requires at least one online or in-store transaction in the previous month, with access from the 5th. Assume an eligible purchase posts in July: August access starts 5 August, so a 3 August departure may not qualify. The checked facts did not supply a separate transaction minimum; reversals or failed authorisations should not be relied upon.
Six golf games per quarter is a separate benefit, not lounge access. “Unlimited” describes lounge count after qualification, not absence of a gate.
A trip-based calculation
Assume three domestic departures in the first half, two in the second, and two international opportunities after 1 September. Ignore guests, assume lounge participation, and assume gates are met.
| Card | Potential coverage | Main condition |
|---|---|---|
| Live+ | 2 domestic + 1 international | One domestic per half; second international is outside allowance |
| TravelOne | 5 domestic + 2 international | Within 6+4; confirm reset date |
| BizPower | Unlocked domestic visits + 2 international | ₹75,000 previous-quarter gate |
| BizBlack | Trips after gate and 5th-day timing | Previous-month transaction required |
There is no universal winner: dates, fees, airport coverage, normal spending and programme periods change the answer.
Checks before leaving for the airport
- Confirm the card’s qualifying period and remaining domestic/international count.
- For BizPower, retain the previous-quarter eligible-spend calculation.
- For BizBlack, confirm last month’s eligible transaction and that today is on or after the 5th.
- For Live+, do not count the international visit before 1 September 2026.
- Check the terminal-specific lounge list and operating hours.
- Treat guests as chargeable unless current terms clearly say otherwise.
- Carry a fallback payment method and follow the steps in the lounge-access denied checklist if validation fails.

Frequently asked questions
Does Live+ have international lounge access on 31 July 2026?
No. The one-visit annual international benefit starts on 1 September 2026. Recheck the service guide before a September trip.
Does TravelOne require quarterly spend for lounge access?
No verified spend gate was found in the current material checked for this report. Quotas, lounge participation and card validation still apply.
Is BizPower’s ₹75,000 threshold measured in the travel quarter?
The July structure uses qualifying spend in the previous quarter for the following domestic package. Verify eligible categories and posting dates in the current notice.
Why can BizBlack be declined if lounge access is unlimited?
Because unlimited describes the visit count after qualification, not unconditional access. At least one eligible online or in-store transaction is required in the previous month, with access from the 5th.
Are guest visits included on these cards?
Do not assume so. TravelOne guest/add-on allocation was unavailable for this report, and programme-specific guest charges can apply elsewhere.
Terms and lounge networks can change after the check date. Recheck issuer terms immediately before relying on access. This comparison is neutral product reporting, not tax or personal financial advice.
