Three HSBC Live+ benefits sit close together on a promotional page but do not begin together. The Myntra launch cashback starts on 31 July 2026. The Live+ Reserve dining and lifestyle programme starts on 1 August. The annual international lounge visit begins on 1 September. Reading all three as immediately available would be inaccurate.
Freshness check: Checked 31 July 2026. On this dateline, the Myntra offer is live. Live+ Reserve and the international lounge visit are announced/upcoming. Myntra’s temporary rate expires after 31 October 2026; Reserve expires after 31 July 2027 under the published terms. Recheck the official pages before booking, visiting a lounge or moving shopping spend because participating partners and terms can change.
The launch calendar
| Date | Status on that date | What changes | End date |
|---|---|---|---|
| 31 July 2026 | Live on the dateline | Eligible Myntra website/app shopping earns 10% cashback | 31 October 2026, inclusive |
| 1 August 2026 | Announced/upcoming on 31 July | Live+ Reserve dining and lifestyle portal offer begins at 00:00 IST | 31 July 2027 at 23:59:59 IST, unless changed or withdrawn under terms |
| 1 September 2026 | Announced/upcoming on 31 July | One complimentary international lounge visit per year becomes effective | No separate expiry stated in the service guide; subject to current card terms |
| 31 October 2026 | Final included Myntra day | Temporary 10% treatment ends after this date | Myntra ordinarily returns to 1.5% from 1 November under launch terms |
| 31 July 2027 | Final included Reserve day | Redemption and use generally must be completed by the end of the offer period | No extension should be assumed |
This separation matters when a benefit affects a purchase or booking today. An offer page may advertise the complete Live+ package while a detailed document gives a later effective date. The detailed date should control the reader’s planning.
Myntra: live, temporary and inside the same cap
From 31 July through 31 October 2026, inclusive, eligible shopping transactions on Myntra’s website or app earn 10% cashback. HSBC says the cashback is credited within 45 days of the card statement date. Cancelled, reversed, disputed or refunded transactions are not eligible.
The offer does not create another cap. Myntra joins dining, food delivery, grocery, utility and other eligible shopping inside the same ₹1,200 accelerated cashback ceiling. If dining and grocery have already generated ₹1,100 in a billing cycle, a qualifying ₹3,000 Myntra purchase can use only the ₹100 left under that combined ceiling in this simplified example—not a separate ₹300.
| Eligible spend pattern | Headline calculation | Accelerated cashback after shared cap |
|---|---|---|
| ₹6,000 dining + ₹3,000 grocery | ₹900 | ₹900 |
| Then ₹3,000 Myntra during offer | ₹300 | ₹300; shared total reaches ₹1,200 |
| Then ₹4,000 utility spend | ₹400 | ₹0 additional once the shared ceiling is full |
Actual credit depends on transaction eligibility and classification. HSBC’s service guide describes the current ₹1,200 limit “a month”; the Myntra terms call it per billing cycle. Cardholders should use their current statement communication to confirm the period applied to their account. The cashback cap guide explains how a shared ceiling reduces the effective rate after it fills.
Outside this launch period, Myntra ordinarily earns 1.5%, like Amazon and Flipkart under the current guide. It would be misleading to call Live+ a permanent 10% Myntra card. Add-on cardholders also do not get a separate Myntra-offer eligibility bucket.
Live+ Reserve: announced on 31 July, live from 1 August
The Live+ Reserve period runs from 00:00 IST on 1 August 2026 to 23:59:59 IST on 31 July 2027. It is therefore upcoming—not live—on 31 July. HSBC provides access while Times Prime facilitates the portal and redemption; the participating restaurants and lifestyle brands supply the underlying benefits.
Reserve includes set menus, complimentary beverages or desserts at participating restaurants, plus lifestyle services or discounts. Availability depends on the portal’s current partners, capacity, booking rules, blackout dates and partner terms.
An eligible activated cardholder uses the designated portal, verifies by mobile OTP and makes a non-refundable ₹1 card-verification payment; another ₹1 flow is described when selecting a benefit. Times Prime confirms dining reservations, while other food and beverage charges go directly to the restaurant. Only one listed dining offer applies per table booking, subject to that venue’s offering.
Reserve entitlements are at primary and add-on cardholder level. Myntra add-ons, by contrast, do not receive a separate offer allowance. Do not carry one promotion’s add-on rule into another.
International lounge: announced, but not until September
The service guide lists one complimentary international lounge visit annually with effect from 1 September 2026. It is not a benefit to rely on during August. The domestic benefit is already two visits per calendar year, limited to one in each six-month period.
A card page may summarise the package as two domestic plus one international visit, but the summary does not erase the international start date. Lounge access also depends on the current participating list, access method, capacity and card status. Use the airport lounge denial checklist before travelling, especially during the launch transition.
The wider product change, without inventing a rename date
The current Live+ package differs materially from HSBC’s legacy Cashback materials. However, the reviewed official sources do not provide a universal notice establishing one exact date when every Cashback account became Live+. Product-page changes, newly issued cards and account-level communications should not be collapsed into an unsupported migration claim.
| Area | Legacy Cashback material | Live+ position checked 31 July 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Accelerated ceiling | ₹1,000 per billing cycle | ₹1,200; shared across expanded eligible categories |
| Categories | Dining, food delivery, grocery | Adds eligible shopping and utilities |
| Forex markup | 3.5% | 1.99% |
| Domestic lounge | Four yearly, one per quarter | Two yearly, max one per six months |
| International lounge | Not shown | One yearly from 1 September 2026 |
| International/Instant EMI cashback | Legacy treatment available subject to its terms | No cashback under July 2026 Live+ guide |
For fees, the joining and annual charges are ₹999 each, plus applicable taxes. The annual fee reversal uses eligible anniversary-year spend that exceeds ₹2 lakh. Exact-threshold wording matters; the fee-table guide can help separate fee, waiver and tax lines.
What to verify before using each launch benefit
For Myntra, confirm the offer date, remaining shared cap, website/app route and discount treatment after any return. For Reserve, wait until the 1 August start, use only the official portal, confirm a reservation and read the selected partner’s terms. For an international lounge, wait until 1 September and verify the current participating location and credential.
Do not spend merely to unlock cashback or a fee waiver, and do not treat a restaurant benefit as guaranteed availability. This timeline is neutral reporting, not financial, tax or legal advice, and none of these benefits is universally best for every cardholder.
